![]() I have to create a very large organizational chart with well over 60 divisions/sub-divisions. When I attempt to format it, I can clearly see that there is more than enough room to resize the boxes and move them around to allow for some breathing room and readability. However, I am having trouble adjusting the SmartArt to fit in a page. Is there any way to adjust the size of the boxes to make better use of the available space? Is designing such a chart on Word/Excel even possible or should I consider a different program? I’ve attached the screenshot and file for reference. Thanks for the help! |

I see no screenshot attached. However, having worked in the graphics field and composed large Org Charts similar to what you speak of, I would not attempt using Word or Excel for such a project. Microsoft Visio is the tool that I have had the best experience with. The true teller of what program you should use is what you want done with the chart (or, how it is going to be used) once you are finished.
On another note, I have never used SmartArt so I could not assist you further in that regard. |
