I agree that it SHOULD, but I have also been working with Word long enough to work out that SHOULD and DOES are two different things! I sometimes find new information that explains some mystery error, but then again, I still find more mysteries than I do solutions.

To make it easier for you though - If you were to make a macro to:

-Search by graphic (Alt+Ctrl+Home and choose 'Browse by Graphic')
-Resize
-Deselect Graphic (move AFTER the graphic)

You could then add a loop in the code to get it to do the same to all the images in the 'Book'?
