Word page is overlaid with black draggable box upon saving
I have a .docx document which I use as a company letterhead template for creating emailable PDFs. The document features a logo and some descriptive text on the left hand side of the page, and an empty text box on the right hand side of the page into which I type the body of my letter.
However: When I try to save the updated document, the whole page is overlaid with black, although I can just make out the logo and descriptive text at left underneath. I can physically move the black box by dragging it sideways with my cursor, but it takes the logo and descriptive text with it, leaving just the revised text box in an otherwise empty blank page. I'm hoping someone will be able to provide a solution to this frustrating issue ... any ideas? Many thanks, Susie |

Your description seems to suggest the logo (and perhaps the associated descriptive text) are part of an object that fills the page.
However, without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

Hmm I think you may have solved the issue - the person who created the file tells me they embedded a PDF as a watermark and then overlaid a text box ...
