To copy the timeline (which is a table) and text boxes together as a unit, you need to "group" all of the objects together. To do this, click on each object with the "shift key" depressed; then click on the "Format" ribbon and select the "Group" drop down menu from the "Arrange" section (near the far right-hand side of the ribbon).
