Placing the same object/picture on all pages but on alternative (mirror position) -
Help! I hope anyone can give me some guidance in this matter - I kept struggling with this issue in Word 2007, and I simply cannot figure it out -
So, I am working on a book and I want create side tabs which mark each page of each section - The sections side tabs (each section same content) are easy to make via Insert Object from callouts, and are also easy to get each one the desired color - but after this appears a problem - Here's how I tried to do this, and is quite cumbersome - So place the first tab at the top right on the first odd page - Then (since the book will be printed as mirror image), I place on the second page the mirror image of the first tab, in such a manner that at the printing moment the two images will perfectly overlap - But as I said, the process is very time consuming, and unsatisfactory - So I am wondering whether Word has somewhere hidden the ability of inserting pictures on alternative pages, on alternative, mirror positions - Or what would be other options to achieve this feat - I would appreciate an answer - Mike - |

Hi Mike,
Configure your page setup with 'different odd and even', then insert the desired side tabs in one even page header and one odd page header. They'll now all appear on their respective even/odd pages.
