Possible quicker way to do this ...
Basically, I make team lines for Amateur Football teams that play in the same league as my team. On these teams lines there is a host of information and a photo of the player. The idea being that the photo identifies that the player is who he says he is and is eligible to play.
When making the team lines I copy and paste the photo of the the player into the box and change the size and width to 2.05 x 2.05 and then position the photo. Is there anyway that I could set Word to automatically re-size the photo when I paste it in? |

You've posted in the general 'Office' forum, which could apply to any Office application. What application are you using?

Forgot all about this. I don't quite understand what you mean by what application? I use Word 2013 to make the teamlines, they are essentially like a big grid and in one of the boxes the photo of the player is placed.
Teamlines a-side, basically is there a way to have a photo automatically resize itself when pasting it into word, rather than resizing it yourself once it has been pasted in it's original size. Thanks |

If you select an existing photo, click on the Paste Formatting icon (like a paintbrush), then click on the new photo, that photo should take on the formatting of the old one. If you want to do several at one time, double click on the paintbrush and use it continuously on the new photos.

A simple way of ensuring a series of photos all fit into the same area when inserted into a document is to create a suitably-sized table with fixed row heights and column widths. Any image files inserted into the table will automatically be resized to fit. For an existing document, resizing a single image then selecting another image and pressing F4 will resize that image too. Repeat as often as required (or select all images and do it once if they're not formatted as in-line.
