Anchoring photo to paragraph
I'm writing a book with lots of photos. I thought I had test wrapping and inserting photos and anchoring same... figured out. But I had to go back many pages and insert a new photo with text. However, the text and photos did not move down in a predictable manner and it all got messed up. How do you do this correctly? thanks.. Tom

Hi Tom,
Inserting a new photo ahead of others that are formatted with a layout other than in-line is prone to causing layout problems. For that reason, it's generally best to, at most, insert the photos in-line during editing and only insert the photos or convert them to another format (eg square) at the very end of the process, starting at the top of the document and progressively moving down through it.

So, nothing can be done if you formatted the doc and then realized you need to change something. Shame. Can it help if you put a page break infront of the pages with images? anywhere where it can be, as it will move everything down the same way they have been so far.

That is not what was said. You can, but the changes in overall document layout that result mean everything further down in the document has to adjust. Consequently, everything further down in the document has to be reviewed and any unwanted effects corrected.
