I have inserted and pasted a picture in word 2003, I am now trying to place a drawing object (oval) over a piece of the picture as I want to draw attention to that spot.
When i select drawing object and insert, it always ends up on the side of the picture and never over it. I have tried using the "order" buttons, as well as trying to play around with the "grid" setting in draw. But nothing is working. How can I set drawing objects to float over pictures or text? |

After you insert a picture, Right-click on the picture and select "Format Picture". Click on the "Layout" tab. Then select "In Front of text" as your wrapping style. Click ok and it should work.
