I am running winxp and MS Office 2003 with the compatability upgrade installed. After I made some changes to my system Excel will now not open properly (only Excel is affected).............ANY document I open will open but then the recovery mode will apprear in the foreground and I am stuck in what seems to be an infinite loop...........

any help much obliged - I have tried deleting my temp files and the Excel recovery ones (in application data>microsoft>excel) but it is still happening. I have also unistalled and reinstalled............
