It does show you where the page breaks are placed. However it breaks row horizontally so the top part of the row is at the end of page 1 and the bottom part of the row is on the next page.
This clearly is a shortcoming from Microsoft where you have dashboard report that run over multiple pages. I know Dashboards by their very nature are designed to be "one pagers" but design rarely matches reality :-).
