http://www.gmayor.com/document_batch_processes.htm would handle the files, but without more detail about how the documents are formatted, it is difficult to suggest a process that will replace the dates and/or the logos.


How and where are the logos inserted? Are the graphics in line or 'floating'. If the graphics are in one or more header/footers, are there other graphics in the header/footers also?


Where is the data in the document? How was it inserted? Can this date be differentiated from other dates that may be in the documents, that are not to be changed.


You have not told us anything about 'issue number' other than that there appears to be one?


The best option would be to post a sample document, edited to remove confidential business information, but otherwise a true reflection of what the document is like.
