Default Forms: Possibility to format combobox content control with categories?

Hi guys,

I'm new here, so I hope I'm in the right place!
Recently I got started with creating forms in Word. My first form was pretty straightforward, and didn't even include a combo box content control. In my latest form I would like to list many items, and to prevent people from searching forever I would like to categorize the item, is this possible?
Let's say I have 10 items that only apply to the category "Morning", 15 item that only apply to "Afternoon" and 10 item that apply to the category "Evening", just listing 35 items would be a bit overwhelming for people using the form. If the categories could be indicated someway it would be much clearer. Is there a way to do this? Please see the attached gif for an example of what I want to do.

Thanks in advance!
