Hi all,

I've embedded a local video file in a powerpoint presentation and am finding that it will not play in slide show mode.

This is frustrating because it plays just fine in the normal editing mode. The first frame displays in the slide with a toolbar containing the play button and timeline. At one point I clicked the video and it started, but that was one try out of many. All other attempts result ina brief flash of the toolbar and then nothing, just a continuation of the still frame. Clicking on the timeline does not advance the frame. I've tried H.264, and WMV format, rendered each from different video projects. Same story.

What the heck is the problem here?
