My android stopped working so I have now got a windows phone (Lumia). I am trying to do something - sync Windows 10 desktop (Outlook 2007) to Windows phone which I thought should be easier than Windows 10 to Android - how wrong.
I have got my Outlook.com account.
I have installed Outlook Connector.
I have added the Outlook.com account to the phone
I have a partial sync - my email seems OK - I can drag & drop from my conventional email in Outlook to my
peterhwxxx@outlook.com folder now installed in Outlook and that is sync'd across to the phone
I have a new calendar in outlook 2007 - my
peterhwxxx@outlook.com calendar and again I drag and drop items I want to go to my phone.
My contacts however have NOT sync'd properly - I have 50 contacts in my
peterhwxxx@outlook.com and some of these can be found on my phone
I have now checked a sync log and find the following
11:59:34 Error with Send/Receive.
11:59:34 There was an error synchronizing a contacts folder. Error : 80004005.
11:59:34 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Drafts'
11:59:34 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'
etc
everything else seems fine
Tried searching and can not find anything recent
(WAIT FOR new Android!)

Later
The SYNC log folder has now disappeared from Outlook 2007
Created new contact on phone and this sync'd with Outlook.com and with Outlook 2007
