Hi there,
is it possible to view an excel workbook’s pages side by side? (in the way that one can view pages of a word document side by side?)
i’ll explain the question again in other words just incase confusion arises: I’d like for the end of page one to be continued on a page located to the right of page one. I’d prefer for this page on the right to continue to be displaying columns a,b,c,d,e,f,g and not h,i,j,k,l,m,n. Additionally i’d be nice if i could open up a total of 4 or so pages all to the right (or to the left) of each other. I would like all of these opened pages to be in the same window and to all be displaying the exact same columns. I use two monitors, and can, depending on my zoom settings, view at least 4 pages of a word document at the same time. Essentially, what i’d like is just having the same ‘print layout’ system which is located in ‘MS Word’.
Please let me know if this is possible, and if it is be so kind as to let me know how
many thanks for your time and expertise!!
Peter
ps. incase there is some additional confusion as to why i'd want to do this. This is so as to enable me to compare data in the different parts of my workbook and then to be able to cut/paste the data in different orders so as to be able to structure it in a manner helpful to my task.
pps. using excel 2011 but will update if necessary..
