Default Set default line/shape color

We upgraded to Microsoft Office 2013.

In earlier versions of Word, you could use Theme Colors to set the default color for image borders, and shapes you insert into a document. I can't remember what theme position it was - I want to say Accent 3 - but whatever color you indicated for that position in the theme, that's the color you would get for image borders whenever you applied them. There was a different position for tables and shapes.

That doesn't work anymore. Whenever I try to apply a border to an image, I not only have to go through about seven keystokes with the new setup, but I also have to change the color of the line. (I literally count keystrokes because I used to design software. Nothing should take more than three keystrokes.) I'd like to cut some of these keystrokes out with a default, but what I used to do isn't working.

Did Microsoft put the default somewhere other than Theme Colors? Or is it now just not possible to even set it?
