Ive had microsoft office 2007 for quite some time and its been installed on 3 computers (one desktop and 2 laptops)
the issue is that the desktop is beyond repair and will not be fixed and one of the laptops is also broken and will be, well, thrown out along with the computer
My family will be buying 2 more laptops to replace them and I was wondering if there is a way to deactivate the product keys for the broken computers and use them on the new comps?

it should be an issue. I just did a google search and found two posts. one said that you can't deactiviate it but that MSFT is only concerned about what is active (so uninstall whatever you can before you install) and the other was pointing to a microsoft article that discusses it.
