I understand completely the situation you are describing and I feel your pain. If you have to have multiple Word documents open for copying and pasting or to switch among them, nothing is more annoying then them all popping up when you open a new Word doc. I have asked several IT professionals about this to no avail. Perhaps more frustrating than the issue itself if that others don't seem to notice it or be bothered by it. If you have come across a solution since your first post, I would greatly appreciate your sharing. I understand some sort of programming may be required, but for a lot of people who have a work-issued computer that is part of a network, that is not an option. Maybe that is true for you as well.
