Default Excel 2016 Unicode Typing in Indic using typerwriter layout due to inconsistent backspace behaviour.

In excel 2016, typing in Indian language (Hindi/Marathi) using Typewriter keyboards or layouts in Unicode, is not supported properly because of changes in backspace behavior.

In Excel 2016, the behavior of the backspace key is different from the previous one The backspace key now deletes entire grapheme cluster while in other editors like ms word 2016 and below, Notepad and all other Microsoft Editor applications the backspace key deletes by code point which is standard behavior followed so far.

Refer following link for more details on grapheme cluster, code point and preferable behavior of backspace key:-
http://unicode.org/reports/tr29/

For Example:- if we type किताब and press backspace after word, in case of excel 2016, it deletes first ब and next it will delete ता. while in case of word 2016 and all other Microsoft editors, it deletes ब, then ा and then त (which is expected behavior).

Please let me know if this behavior of backspace can be changed (any settings or updates) as it is causing reordering problems while typing with typewriter layout keyboards.
