Cool How does Excel put values on negative degree(s)?

(Normal.jpg) is what my normal data sheet will look like. I am conditionally formatting the values to be black when they are in between the upper and lower tolerances listed.

The problem arises when I try to conditionally format a value in degree(s). I calculate the actual degree from nominal degree, so I will occasionally have a negative degree (and my lower tolerance is a negative degree). It appears Excel thinks negative 1 degree is larger than zero degree. Excel puts the -1:30:00 above the 1:30:00 when I sort largest to smallest. (abnormal.jpg)

Any advice would be appreciated; and please go easy on me, its my first time!!
