Default Acrobat add-in not working

I recently installed Office 2010, but I cannot get the Acrobat add-in to work. I used to use that feature often in Word 2007, and it always worked perfectly. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the 2010 version, but nothing seems to work. I wonder if I will be forced to revert back to Office 2007. I paid good money for the newest version of Office, but I cannot get the Acrobat add+in to work.
