Running Win 7 Pro, Excel Office Pro 2016.

When I try to open an excel attachment i get the error msg. that Microsoft Excel cannot open or save anymore documents because there is not enough memory." This is a brand new computer with stacks of memory both HD and RAM. I can open excel docs. on file but not attachments that come with e-mails.
