I wish to make a genealogical inventory on Excel whereby I can click on a hyperlink in a cell and a picture will immediately come up. This is easy enough to do from the same computer that created the hyperlink, but is there a way to do it so that the spreadsheet and the repertory of pictures can be copied to an independent DVD or some other storage unit and read on another computer ? The object of the exercize is to be able to give the storage unit to interested people who will be able to view the pictures without having themselves created the original hyperlink. The problem usually found is that when you click on the hyperlink created on another computer, the picture will no longer come up because the path is not recognized. Is there some way of overcoming this problem ?
