It's not a question of 'setting' a page on the printer; it's a question of what physical size the paper is. Is the paper size the same as the page size in Word? Word also has a setting that accommodates A4 when the paper size is US Letter. See:
File|Options|Advanced>Print>Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes.
