Why would you want to sort an individual cell? Or do you mean each cell's data are unrelated to other cells on the same row? If it's the latter, you should use a single-column table in a three-column page layout. That way, you can sort the table and insert/delete cells at will and have the table re-organise itself to take account of the edits.
