That metadata? Not sure what you mean here.

I am guessing that by quick parts you are referring to either AutoText or other Building Blocks.

If you create the template and store the building blocks in the template (not in the building blocks file or the normal template), those building blocks and document properties will be available in documents created from the template. This is true so long as the template remains "attached" to the document. If you break the attachment, you lose access to the building blocks. Building Blocks can only be stored in templates, not documents.
