Unknown to me when I purchased my new PC it came with a trial version of Office 2007. I never activated it and bought and installed Micro Office Home and Student 2010.

Then I started receiving windows updates for 2007 which is how I found out that a trial version of 2007 was on my machine.

My question is how do I get rid of Office 2007 as it does NOT appear in the Add/Remove programs list. Indeed the only place it does appear is in a folder in Programs (x86).

I have tried contacting the manufacturer of my PC and after getting the run around they bumped me off on to Microsoft where I just went round in circles getting nowhere.

Anybody come across this problem before and able to offer help would be appreciated.
