Not quite. I know how to filter using the dropdown arrow. My question is regarding the grouping. This is the function in the
Outline group in the
Data tab.I would like to make 4 groups that I can collapse and expand. One for each state. For example, select the rows containing Florida and select
Group in the
Outline group of the
Data field. Now if you want to group NJ as another group, Excel combines Florida and NJ into one group. Now, instead of NJ you select Oregon, you'll get two groupings.
