Default Need help aligning data within cells in Word and a spacing issue

Hi, I have created a table in Word and in the cells in the last column whenever I try to backspace or forward space one line of the data in order to line it up with the figures above and below it (if anyone knows of any less crude, more efficient ways to vertically line up data in a Word table that would also be good to know), the data in the other column within the cell (either 2, 3 or 4 columns of figures within each 4th column cell) moves in the opposite direction towards the data I am trying to move? It’s really frustrating me because I am doing this to all of the tables that I have created as I am formatting them all to be the same in a lot of aspects and I did 3 tables without this problem but suddenly I’m unable to line up my data underneath the cell headers for each mini data column because of this random issue. Any advice would be much appreciated, I’m a bit of a perfectionist and cannot stand to print out these tables with such disjointed and out of sync figures but I need it done really soon so any advice would be much appreciated.
