Default How to display the full citation in footnotes/endnotes

Hi there, I'm using Microsoft Word 2011 for Mac.
I am trying to display my citations in full in my footnotes/endnotes to try and save me some time when it comes to prepping the final document.

At the moment, I will put in a footnote, go to the citation manager, put in all the source information, but instead of giving me the full citation, eg: Author (year) Title. Publisher, etc... it just gives me (Author, Year). How do I fix this?

At the moment I am having to then create a bibliography, then copy paste the full citations into my endnotes. But there must be an easier way to display the whole citation in the first place?

I've tried changing the reference style, etc but to no avail and there doesn't seem to be a decent guide out there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
