Default how do you edit by word wrapping paragraphs?

Hi:
I have been searching for 8 hours( youtube, articles, forums) on how to convert a Word 2007 document with left justification, double line spacing, and multiple paragraphs to a document with full justification, single line spacing, and all in one paragraph. I have copied and pasted the doc. to notepad and then clicked tab Format/word wrap and it came out perfect. The only problem is notepad doesn’t have all the nice features (fonts, size, colors, etc) that Word has. So I tried copying the perfect notepad document and pasting it back to a new Word Doc (Rich text style, Unicode), but Word returns it to its original left justification, etc. Not good. I tried word wrapping in Word but that is for wrapping a picture usage. I want only for text. I even tried OpenOffice with Wrap2Latex extension but that also turned out to be a fluke.
