Default how delete Word reviewing mode

when I upgraded to Windows 7, which is marginally better and often worse than XP, a few months ago, it added - automatically and without my permission - to my MS Word this reviewing mode with this note on how great it was. It has it's own format and layout and I hate it. I just want all my word files to automatically open in Word with a simple document like I've been doing for over ten years. I immediately have to close it and then it opens as a normal word file. Does anyone know how get rid of this?

I wish MS would quit doing this - making improvements and then automatically loading them in - even though I didn't upgrade my Word software. It just appeared with this stupid note on how great it was. MS is losing it. People are moving to Macs for a reason. I'll be next unless they get the message. And I've been with MS since 1988. Frustrated with this and all the other things in Windows 7 that are worse than XP.
