Default Can I Extract a Page from Word and Make a New DOCX File?

Hello everyone!

I'm using Microsoft Office Home & Student 2010, which I bought a few days ago. So far, I love it. (Except for the ribbon. But I'm using the UBit Classic Menu add-in. Sorry, ribbon fans…can we still be friends?)

I have a Word 2010 document that has 15 pages. I'd like to take one of these pages and create a separate .docx file for it. Obviously, I could just copy and paste the text into a new document. That's the procedure I'm currently using.

Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know if it's possible to extract a page from Word and create a new document with it any other way.

I don't think there specifically is an "extract page" feature, is there? If there is something similar to this, what is it, and where can I find it?

Thank you! Jd
