We have ascertained that when someone tracks changes and saves, the changes all appear the same color to the contributors.

What we want to know is when someone who has not tracked changes in the document opens the document, can that person see the changes in different colors as appropriate?

Generally, the person who will approve or reject changes is not going to also be one of the people tracking changes.

When someone who has not tracked changes in the document and opens the document then that person does not see different colors because when the document is saved then ALL the track changes in the document are the SAME color.

This is what happens. When I open the document all the changes are in red. When I start making changes they are in blue. Then when I SAVE the document they ALL turn red. So a third-party who opens the document will not see red and blue, they will see the saved version which is ALL in red.

So I'm the contributor (blue) and the person who created the document is red, so if it changes according to the contributor(s) then the changes should be in blue, but they're not they're red just like the person who initially made changes to the document. That's why I don't believe my settings are the problem. I believe there's a setting in the document that is causing the document to change all the colors to one color when the document is saved.
