This didn't use to happen; I am not sure when it started. But, now, when I highlight text (NO OTHER CHANGES), the red dot (upper left corner) gets a black dot inside it, then when I quit Word, I get the window asking if I want to save the changes I made to my document. Any way of stopping this? I use Word 2011 (14.5.3). By highlight, I mean click and drag across a word just to copy it. Thanks!
