Hi, Thanks for your inquiry. I was trying to insert Horizontal lines in a document and sometimes only partial lines appeared. I deleted those and switched to inserting bottom borders and this has worked for me. I

When I was having that problem with horizontal lines I turned on the paragraph marks to see if I need to delete any other marks which I did but it still would not work even if I moved the margins back out which sometimes move on me without me having changed them. I have Vista and don't know why this happens but I am not an expert and that is why I hope to find this forum helpful. Thanks for your concern!
