I have tried software but have always run into problems so I would like to be more in control and try to create a Book Cataloging Library for home use.

I am a beginner and only know the basics of Excel. I know how to make a simple lists of my books with columns and making it look a little colourful but I was wondering if any of you have created something that is more than basic.

If you could give me a few ideas I would love your help.
