Question Copying format between tables.

Hi, this is my first post.

Im trying to update the formatting of tables in a word 2007 Document.

I have a number of tables all with similar formatting,(haven't used quick styles or anything like that) and I have updated the formatting on one of them.

What I want to do is take the formatting of that one table and make the other tables look the same. This includes fonts, text coloring, and cell borders and shading.

Ive searched high and low but can't seem to find a way to do this. Ive tried quick styles, but there I can only create a new style from scratch or modify the existing styles.

Using format painter doesnt copy text colours, or table formatting.

Some places suggest making a macro, but it seems silly to have to write a program every time I want to do this.

I can't just copy and paste the table itself since that means I have to rewrite the entire contents of every table in my document. Something Id rather avoid.

Is there any simple way without doing coding to apply the formatting of one table in a document to another in the same document?
