1. Works for me if I search for
^d XE "Purpose"

If it isn't working for you, check again what the actual field contains, that the field codes are shown on screen and that the No Formatting button has been clicked to make sure you are not searching for a particular format. You will also need to ensure the Match Case is not selected if you want to find purpose when Purpose was in the field code.
