Default Notification Rules on a Public Calendar with Multiple Authors

Hi everyone,

My employer is doing an Outlook Calendar for the entire organization. This means there's event info coming in for 7 - 10 different departments.

Instead of having one person manage all the data on this calendar (creating new events, changing existing ones, etc.) my employer wants one rep from each business unit to have editing rights on the calendar. When any of the editors make a change, they want a notification email to be sent to all the other authorized editors for that calendar automatically, like a rule. Is there any way to do this on a Public folder calendar?

There's too much data for them to put themselves as attendees on each event - the calendar to date has over (literally) 1,000 items/events on it so far, with more coming in each day. Can;t think of anything else to try.......

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,
Kae

P.S. To clarify - I personally am using the Outlook 2013 desktop client application, but the rest of the organization's on Outlook 2010. So any features discussed must be on Outlook 2010.
