Default missing some page numbers only those contain object from excel

Hello. I am using word 2007 for my document. It's a long document with several page break in it. I have the problem in one section of the document that contain object from other office package (ms excel graph). There are 5 graph objects inserted in this section, the rest pages of the section don't have any external object.
I setup footer for page numbers. When I printed the document, the page numbers of the pages with the inserted excel object won't appear. While the rest of the pages in this section and other section are OK. The missing page numbers only occur in some pages that contain excel graph. In the print layout view I can see the pages (the missing one), as well as the other page number. All seem normal, but when I print the document the page numbers (only) in the pages with excel object are missing.
I try to see the footer/header of this missing page number, and found that the header and footer were mashed together (joined together). The document essentially looked like this, with the footer above the header and butted up to it on the page.

The joined header and footer only occur in the section with excel object. Also I notice that at the end of every pages containing these excel graph, there seem a boundary line instead of word text boundary. If I delete the excel graph, the boundary line also gone. Is this related to text wrapping option? or another else?

This is a very frustrating problem. The document was fine until I printed it. I am hoping someone has a solution for this so that I can fix my present document and can ensure that it does not recur.

Thank you.
