Even to a rewritable DVD? (I probably should have specified that originally.) If so, it doesn't make any sense. It's also possible that this is an anomaly due to a dirty DVD laser lens.
However, that wasn't the focus of my question. The real question is in the first paragraph: Why is Windows Explorer marking folders ON MY HARD DRIVE (should have specified that too
) as containing read-only files when there are none in the folder? And given that that's the case, why can't I reset the folder properties and have the reset stay? How do I get these corrections to stay corrected?
