I currently have a file that I need to reduce the file size of (it's currently around 600KB) because it is too large for my work printer's memory to handle.

The issue: checkable boxes (added through the developer tab). As soon as one of these is added the file size jumps from 100KB to 600KB.

I am hoping to keep checkable boxes because this is a form that needs to be filled out and sent back to me. I cannot for example just use a symbol.

• 1. Are there other ways to include a checkable box
  2. Are there ways to reduce the file size when sending to print?
