Take the following steps
- go to control panel
- Add or remove programs
- Ms office 2007
- change
- add or remove features, then click continue
- click office shared features
- click proofing tools
- click the english proofing tools
- now just remove all the cross marks shown on RED; you will make all the features enable then restart your system and open the word file, type one word, right click it , and you can see the synonyms.
