Default Word 2003 macro to Word 2007 to 2010 to...

I work in an office which uses hundreds of Word 2003 macros (and thousands of Excel 2003 macros, but I won't go there yet). We haven't yet migrated to 2007, and I'm thinking we might just skip 2007 and go to 2010 or the next version after that.

My 2003 macros and templates don't work so perfectly in 2007; in fact, one of the biggest benefits to 2003 is the ability to build complicated Right Click functionality, something that isn't supported (as far as I can tell) in 2007. 2007 VBA looks similar, but different enough that I don't trust it.

I would like to be prepared for this switch. What can I do now to prepare my VBA code, styles, and templates for migration to 2007/2010/beyond? What coding differences are there? Are there any books/classes/websites I should check out to see what I should do?
