Since you don't seem to want a solution, I am going to mark this as solved. The links I gave you give the answer you seek.

Word is a complex program because it is designed to meet complex needs. If you want a different header on each page, you can simply do away with the header altogether and type at the top of the page. This messes up text flow, but you can do it.

In the meantime, both WordPad and NotePad come with Windows and are not nearly as complex.
