I don't think this is possible. As far as I know, page numbering is set up to number pages consecutively.
You could set different left and right footers, with the page number only appearing in one of them, but it will still progress in multiples of 2. The other pages will be counted but not shown in the footer.
The only other option I can think of is to set the page size as double your actual page size and divide it in half (2 columns). That way you could get the same page number to show in two places. Not sure how you'd print it though.
