Default Shared group email management

Is anyone aware of a 3rd party program or add-on/plugin to outlook to show WHO in a shared group email box is working on a particular email request? I have a group email where customers are emailing in for quotes. This email box is shared with several people in my office, where anyone available will grab an email and start working on the quote. I would love for some kind of real time embedded window that would show the name of the person in my office and the email they are working on. Then once a user is finished and files the email in a folder, it will be removed from the real time board. There may be something that functions completely different then what I am describing with the same end goal I would be interested in.

Gary | Email: Jeff smith “I need a quote for xyz…”
Bill | Email: Mark Jones “Can I get a cost for the following…”
John | Email: Bill Johnson "Please help with a cost from JFK..."
