Default Colors are inverted on some PC's

A user has created a PP presentation using PP 2010. The presentation was sent another user who uses Office 2013. The colors are inverted on the second users machine. I had her forward the presentation to me I use Office 2013 and the first slide is normal for me but all other slides the color is missing. On my machine if I right click and do the format background option, I can click reset background and the black will go away and the design will return. On the second users machine the reset background option is greyed out.

I deleted the registry folder for PP hoping there was some setting that was corrupt but it didnt help. The attachment shows what it looks like. The left "brown" image is what the second user sees. The right "blue" image is what everyone else can see. It appears that other PP files created years ago are affected, but not all of them. Some remain the correct colors while others are inverted.
