I am using Word 2013 (Office 365). I used Simple Markup briefly on one of my files, but later changed it back to Original before I saved it. Now that file always opens with Simple Markup. Further, when I open a new Word document, it opens with Simple Markup.

I have closed all the files; opened normal.dotm, changed it from Simple Markup to Original, and saved it. However I can immediately open normal.dotm after doing that and it will show Simple Markup. How do I get this nuisance to go away?
